The Embraer E-145, also known as the ERJ-145, is a twin-engine regional jet developed by Embraer of Brazil and introduced in 1996. Designed for efficiency and comfort on short- to medium-haul routes, it is powered by two Rolls-Royce AE 3007A turbofan engines, each producing 7,426 lbf (33 kN) of thrust. The E-145 typically seats 50 passengers in a single-class configuration and has a maximum takeoff weight of 22,000 kg (48,500 lbs). With a cruising speed of 833 km/h (450 knots) and a range of up to 2,870 km (1,550 nautical miles), it provides airlines with flexibility and low operating costs. Known for its reliability, fuel efficiency, and smooth performance, the ERJ-145 became a cornerstone of regional aviation worldwide.
