      B737-700

The Boeing 737-700 is a member of the Boeing 737 Next Generation (NG) family, introduced in 1997 as a replacement for the 737-300. It is designed for short to medium-haul operations and can seat up to 149 passengers in a typical two-class configuration. The 737-700 is powered by two CFM International CFM56-7B turbofan engines and benefits from the 737 NG's redesigned, wider wing with winglets as an option, providing improved fuel efficiency and increased range of up to 3,365 nautical miles. The aircraft features an advanced glass cockpit and enhanced cabin interior. Southwest Airlines selected the 737-700 as a key type in its fleet, and WestJet has also operated the variant extensively. The 737-700 BBJ (Boeing Business Jet) variant, offering an ultra-long-range corporate configuration, has also proven popular. With over 1,000 aircraft delivered, the 737-700 is a successful and versatile member of the NG family, balancing capacity and range for airline operations on both thin regional routes and transcontinental services.
