      F27

The Fokker F27 Friendship is a twin-engine turboprop regional airliner developed by the Dutch manufacturer Fokker. First introduced in 1958, the F27 was designed for short- to medium-haul routes, with a seating capacity of up to 52 passengers. It is powered by two Rolls-Royce Dart turboprop engines, which provide reliable and efficient performance. The F27 was known for its high-wing design, which provided excellent visibility and stability, and for its ability to operate from short and unprepared airstrips. The aircraft was widely used by airlines, military operators, and humanitarian organizations around the world. With over 580 aircraft produced, the F27 became one of the most successful turboprop airliners of its time, and many examples remain in service today. The F27 is remembered for its versatility, durability, and contributions to regional air transport in developing markets and remote areas around the world.
