      A310

The Airbus A310 is a medium- to long-range twin-engine commercial passenger aircraft that was first introduced in 1983. The A310 was designed as a derivative of the Airbus A300 and had a capacity to carry up to 220 passengers in a typical two-class configuration. The aircraft was known for its advanced technology, including a glass cockpit and the use of composite materials, which made it lighter and more fuel-efficient than other aircraft of its size. The A310 had a range of up to 6,400 km and was widely used for both passenger and cargo operations. Although production of the A310 was discontinued in 2007, many of these aircraft remain in operation today, primarily with cargo airlines. The A310 is remembered for its contributions to aviation technology and design and its impact on the development of future Airbus models
