      A300

The Airbus A300 was the company's first commercial aircraft and was introduced in 1972. It was one of the first wide-body jets and was designed to compete with other popular aircraft of the time, such as the Boeing 747. The A300 was a twin-engine aircraft that could carry up to 250 passengers and had a range of up to 4,000 nautical miles. The A300 was well received by airlines, particularly those that needed a medium-sized aircraft to serve medium-haul routes. The A300 was known for its innovative design and advanced technology, including the use of composite materials and the first application of a fly-by-wire control system on a commercial aircraft. The A300 was eventually succeeded by the Airbus A310, but many A300s remain in operation today, primarily with cargo airlines
