The COMAC C919 is a narrow-body, twin-engine jet airliner developed by the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) to compete with the Boeing 737 MAX and Airbus A320neo families. Designed for short- to medium-haul routes, it typically carries 158 to 168 passengers and has a range of up to 5,555 km (3,000 nmi). Powered by CFM International LEAP-1C turbofan engines, the C919 features advanced aerodynamics and lightweight composite materials to enhance fuel efficiency.
