DH8C
The de Havilland Canada DHC-8C, known as the Dash 8-300, is a stretched and more powerful version of the Dash 8 regional turboprop series, introduced in 1989. Designed for improved capacity and performance, it is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW123 or PW123B turboprop engines, each producing 2,500 shp (1,865 kW). The DHC-8C typically seats 50 to 56 passengers and has a maximum takeoff weight of 19,500 kg (42,900 lbs). With a cruising speed of 530 km/h (285 knots) and a range of 1,500 km (810 nautical miles), it is ideal for short- to medium-haul routes. Known for its quiet cabin, fuel efficiency, and reliability, the Dash 8-300 became a backbone of regional airline fleets worldwide.
