The Lockheed C-5M Super Galaxy is a modernized strategic airlifter used by the U.S. Air Force, upgraded from earlier C-5 variants. With a maximum takeoff weight of 381,000 kg (840,000 lbs), the C-5M can carry oversized cargo, including tanks and helicopters, over intercontinental distances without refueling.
