B767-300ER(BCF)
The Boeing 767-300ER BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter) is a passenger-to-freighter conversion of the Boeing 767-300ER wide-body airliner, developed to meet growing demand for medium-capacity intercontinental air freight capacity. The BCF conversion involves the installation of a large main-deck cargo door on the forward left fuselage, a new cargo handling system with powered rollers and locking units, a strengthened main deck floor, and a two-crew freighter cockpit configuration. The converted aircraft can carry up to 58 tons of payload over a range of approximately 3,255 nautical miles, making it well-suited for high-frequency intercontinental cargo routes. Powered by two General Electric CF6 or Pratt & Whitney PW4000 turbofan engines depending on the donor airframe, the 767-300ER BCF is compatible with standard industry containers and pallets. The BCF program, managed by Boeing in partnership with Ducommun and other maintenance organizations, has supplied converted freighters to major integrators including UPS Airlines and cargo operators seeking a cost-effective wide-body freight solution.
