CRJ900
The Bombardier CRJ900 is a stretched, higher-capacity variant of the CRJ700 regional jet, designed for improved efficiency and passenger comfort. Introduced in 2001, it is powered by two General Electric CF34-8C5 turbofan engines, each producing 14,510 lbf (64.5 kN) of thrust. The CRJ900 typically seats 76 to 90 passengers in a two-class configuration and has a maximum takeoff weight of 38,330 kg (84,500 lbs). With a cruising speed of 870 km/h (470 knots) and a range of up to 2,870 km (1,550 nautical miles), it is ideal for medium-haul regional routes. Featuring upgraded aerodynamics, quieter engines, and enhanced passenger amenities, the CRJ900 delivers a balance of performance, comfort, and fuel efficiency for modern regional airline fleets.
