G5
The Gulfstream G5, also known as the Gulfstream V, is a long-range business jet produced by Gulfstream Aerospace. Introduced in 1997, the G5 was the first business jet capable of flying true ultra-long-range missions, with a non-stop range of up to 6,500 nautical miles at Mach 0.80. The aircraft is powered by two BMW/Rolls-Royce BR710 turbofan engines and can seat up to 19 passengers in a spacious, fully customizable cabin. The G5 features a glass cockpit with advanced avionics, and its aerodynamically efficient design allows it to cruise at altitudes up to 51,000 feet, above most commercial air traffic. The G5 was widely adopted by corporations, governments, and charter operators seeking a capable and luxurious long-range private jet. With its combination of range, speed, and cabin comfort, the Gulfstream G5 set a new standard for ultra-long-range business aviation and earned numerous awards for its design and performance.
