A330-203MRTT
The Airbus A330-203MRTT is a military multi-role tanker and transport aircraft based on the Airbus A330-200 wide-body airliner, powered by two General Electric CF6-80E1 turbofan engines as indicated by the -203 sub-variant designation. Like other members of the A330 MRTT family, it is equipped with an advanced aerial refueling boom and underwing hose-and-drogue refueling pods, providing the flexibility to refuel a wide variety of NATO and allied receiver aircraft. The aircraft can transfer up to approximately 111,000 kg of fuel and has a ferry range exceeding 7,000 nautical miles, making it suitable for global deployment. In the transport role, the A330-203MRTT can carry palletized cargo, vehicles, or up to 300 troops, and can be reconfigured for aeromedical evacuation missions. The CF6-powered variant has been selected by several air forces seeking the operational benefits of the A330 MRTT platform combined with the proven reliability of General Electric powerplants. The aircraft continues to serve as a cornerstone of modern strategic air power projection.
