CRJ200
The Bombardier CRJ200 is a regional jet airliner developed from the earlier CRJ100, offering improved performance and efficiency. Introduced in 1996, it is powered by two General Electric CF34-3B1 turbofan engines, each producing 8,729 lbf (38.8 kN) of thrust. The aircraft typically seats 50 passengers in a single-class configuration and has a maximum takeoff weight of 24,040 kg (53,000 lbs). With a range of up to 3,050 km (1,650 nautical miles) and a cruising speed of 860 km/h (465 knots), the CRJ200 was designed for short- to medium-haul regional routes. Renowned for its reliability and operating efficiency, it became a mainstay of regional airlines worldwide, helping bridge smaller markets with major hub airports.
