The Airbus A330-243MRTT is a military multi-role tanker and transport aircraft derived from the Airbus A330-200 wide-body airliner. The -243 designation denotes the specific engine and airframe sub-variant, powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 772B turbofan engines. The aircraft is equipped with both a fly-by-wire aerial refueling boom and underwing hose-and-drogue pods, enabling it to refuel a broad spectrum of receiver aircraft simultaneously.
