The Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia is a twin-engine turboprop regional airliner developed by Embraer of Brazil and introduced in 1985. Designed for short-haul routes, it is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW118 or PW118A turboprop engines, each producing 1,800 shp (1,340 kW). The EMB-120 typically seats 30 passengers in a single-class configuration and has a maximum takeoff weight of 11,990 kg (26,455 lbs). With a cruising speed of 555 km/h (300 knots) and a range of 1,750 km (945 nautical miles), it offers excellent performance on regional routes with limited infrastructure. Known for its reliability, speed, and pressurized comfort, the EMB-120 became a mainstay for regional and commuter airlines worldwide, bridging the gap between light commuter aircraft and larger regional jets
