E170
The Embraer E-170 is a twin-engine regional jet developed by Embraer of Brazil and introduced in 2004 as part of the E-Jet family. Designed for short- to medium-haul routes, it is powered by two General Electric CF34-8E turbofan engines, each producing 14,200 lbf (63 kN) of thrust. The E-170 typically seats 66 to 78 passengers in a two-class configuration and has a maximum takeoff weight of 37,200 kg (82,000 lbs). With a cruising speed of 870 km/h (470 knots) and a range of up to 3,890 km (2,100 nautical miles), it combines jet performance with regional efficiency. Featuring modern avionics, a spacious cabin, and excellent fuel economy, the E-170 established Embraer as a leader in the regional jet market.
