      The Boeing E-3B Sentry is an advanced Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft used by the U.S. Air Force for command, control, and surveillance missions. Based on the Boeing 707-320B airframe, it features a distinctive 30-foot (9.1-meter) rotating radar dome mounted above the fuselage, housing a Westinghouse AN/APY-1 radar system capable of detecting aircraft hundreds of miles away. Powered by four Pratt & Whitney TF33-PW-100A turbofan engines, the E-3B has a maximum takeoff weight of 147,420 kg (325,000 lbs) and a range of 7,400 km (4,000 nautical miles). With a crew of up to 19, the E-3B provides real-time tracking, threat detection, and battle management, serving as a vital airborne command and control platform for modern air operations.
